In all cases I would really prefer to resolve that 9937 error code on Image Capture. In iOS 11 and later, Apple introduced high efficiency formats for images (HEIF) and videos (HEVC) which almost doubles the amount of data that can be stored in same storage. Apple dcline toute responsabilit quant aux actes, aux omissions et au comportement de tout tiers en lien avec votre utilisation du site.

I can overcome this by clicking on All pictures data (I guess so, I have my Iphone in French.) in the options before transferring from Iphone with Airdrop but in such case, Quicktime player itself does not recognize the videos. By default Airdrop would have a new creation date.

Keep in mind two significant facts: (1) I used Image Capture to try to import 235 video files recorded on my phone 234 were imported successfully only one, more or less in the middle of the group, failed. What is odd is that I had already tried this from the iPhone itself. Restarting my phone did not solve the problem.

It is still not solved, you will need to wait the new update of macOS Catalina or use an altertive ways to import pictures from iPhone to Mac. I can't really use Airdrop as an alternative for the following reason: I have a lot of videos to import and need the creation date info to be kept correct in Finder (I mix movies from different iphones and want to have them in chronological order). It was displaying them as the original iOS 11 HEVC photos and videos rather than a converted form. Then open Image Capture while holding the shift key on your keyboard. I was wondering if there was any way to resolve this or work around. The error message only applies to videos (mov files), does not seem to be linked to any specific file sizes (some go through with larger sizes) and sometimes when trying repeatedly to import a video that did not work before, it suddenly works. When trying to import videos from iphones to my Mac (Sierra 10.12.6) through Image Capture, I recently started to have (a lot) an error message 9937.
