I decided to take a risk and I unscrewed the back side of the MacBook. I tried a bunch of keyboard resets, but nothing worked. I continued to search the internet and found a bunch of videos and answered questions in computer support communities, but nothing proved to be a definite solution to my problem. At this point, I was smacking my head against the wall for being so foolish and careless. Almost instantly, I realized that, if, indeed, it was water that had damaged my laptop, I should have flipped the laptop upside down immediately and powered it off. So, I started looking up solutions to my problem online. On top of a damaged laptop, my DVD was stuck in the disk slot, and it was a library-borrowed DVD. This is when I started to get really worried. The next morning, November 23, I woke up and the first thing I did was open up the laptop and press the power button several times. I went to bed with a terrible ache in my stomach. If you are having the same issue as I did, FLIP YOUR LAPTOP FACE DOWN IMMEDIATELY.
So, I set the laptop down on my desk, right side up (the Apple facing up). It was very puzzling and I was very nervous that I had stupidly ruined my laptop. I plugged the laptop into the charger, and the green light did show up. Later that night, I tried opening my Macbook Pro, but it wouldn't turn on! I pressed the power button about a million times, but nothing worked. I came back a few minutes later to look up something on my laptop and it was working fine.

So, after I finished the movie (it had a horrible ending, by the way), I set the laptop down on my desk and went off to do some other work. I did notice that some of the water seemed to seep through the keys of the keyboard. Again, I didn't think much of it, but I did wipe off the keyboard this time and the next few times that water fell on it. I kept scrubbing, and as I the movie I was watching progressed, I accidentally splashed more water droplets on the keyboard of my Mac. A few droplets flew onto my MacBook Pro, but I didn't think anything of it because it wasn't a lot of water. So anyway I'm scrubbing away at a dish and water splashes everywhere.

I was doing the dishes and instead of wasting my time washing the dishes, I thought I could multitask by watching TV at the same time. On November 22 (5 days ago), I decided to do something very stupid. I hope you will benefit and learn from my mistakes and my successes!! So, if you have the same issue I did, bear with me. I think everything I have to say about my issue is relevant. I spilled water on my MacBook pro, mid 2010 and it wouldn't turn on, but, after a span of 5 days, my laptop is back to normal!!! I did NOT buy anything or leave my laptop at ANY stores.
